Jewish Community Center – St. Louis

Located at: Staenberg Family Complex, 2 Millstone Campus Drive, St. Louis, MO 63146  (This was the location we visited…its suggested to enter through the entrance facing Schuetz Rd.)

Marilyn Fox Building, 16801 Baxter Road Chesterfield, MO 63005

On top of the workout facility and pool, the Jewish Community Center is also home to a childcare center and family center.

The Family Center offers three different times each week for families to play in our wonderful indoor play spaces, complete with toys, play structures, art supplies, imaginative play and more. These spaces also make great sites for birthday parties. These play times are a great way to meet other moms, socialize the children and learn and grow with each other.

Both locations, the Creve Coeur location and the Chesterfield location both host Open Play sessions.  We attended the Creve Coeur location, which is the smaller of the two facilities.

The Family Center boasts a train table, Legos wall, play food with small market, a small slide, dolls, various bounce on toys, a library of books and a few small tables for snacks.  The room allows moms to interact with other moms while their children can play in an enclosed space.

This location, in my opinion, is best suited for children two and under as my four year old was engaged for a while, but then quickly lost interest and was bored.

We have not visited the Chesterfield location, but have been told it is a bigger space with more toys/activities geared towards the 3 – 5 years.
