Frisco Train Store

Located at 24 Front Street, Valley Park, MO 63088  Website

It’s almost impossible to believe that in all the time I have been sharing our adventures that I have not posted on the Frisco Train store. This is heaven for any train loving kid, and adult for that matter!

Looking for a great spot when its hot or raining outside, this is a good place to go…though be warned, it will likely be crowded!

This train store has every possible train and train accessory your train lover is after! They also have some train decor items and a collection of Melissa and Doug toys available for sale.

So by now you are probably saying, “That’s great, Katie, but why should I bring my kids???”

Well they also have a HUGE train play area! They just ask for donations to keep the open play free for everyone!

Certainly it is a little tricky keeping little hands off of the merchandise that is for sale, but there are plenty of area to redirect the kiddos to keep them entertained.  If all else fails, check out the TV that is always playing a movie or show dedicated to trains.

The Frisco Train store is also a great place to host your child’s next birthday party! With a whole area upstairs dedicated to just that. Check out their website for more details!

Additionally, they host monthly Frisco Fun Nights on Fridays from 5:30-8:30 pm, though we have never made it to one.  The cost is $5 for each kid over 18 months old, adults are free. This event includes face painting, train cookie decorating and apple juice, train coloring pages and access to the upstairs, which includes their track building room and party room.

Upcoming Fun Nights are: October 14, 2016, November 11, 2016 and December 9, 2016.
