Looking for a place to go when its rainy, too hot or too cold to play outside? This mall has enough to keep your little ones busy for hours.

We recently visited in an effort to get out of the house but not overheat in the blazing sun. With a carousel, a train, large play area and a large toy store that also has a pay to play play room in the back, the boys were entertained for a couple hours.

The two story carousel is located in the middle of the mall and is $3 to ride per kid (adults do not have to purchase a ticket to ride with their littles).  Beware of the tea cup on the bottom level as this one can be spun like the Mad Hatter’s tea cups at Disney…nothing like a good spin while you are already spinning, shortly after breakfast 🙂  Website

The train ride is located in the same area as the carousel. The train sticks to the same schedule as the mall, so check mall hours before venturing out.  You can purchase 3 tickets for $15 and get a fourth one free and kids one and under are free.

This train takes you down two corridors on the first floor.  Make sure you wave as you pass the play area to entice those kiddos to want to ride 🙂 I’m sure their parents will thank you.

Near the Macy’s store you will find the kids play area with soft climbing structures and rubber flooring. Great spot for the kiddos to burn off some energy.

Located adjacent to and also throughout the mall are the pay to ride mechanical cars, helicopters, trucks, etc.  My boys love to sit in EACH one and just pretend its driving.

Also located near the carousel and train, in the Macy’s wing is the pay to jump trampoline and Toy Tyme, a large toy store with a back room where you can pay to play with numerous toys.  Toy Tyme also has a PARTaY room that can be rented for birthday parties.

This is our favorite mall to head to in the St. Louis area when we are looking for an indoor location to play and get out some wiggles.
