School’s out for the Summer! What does that mean for us??? More places to explore and play! We have driven by Robinson Elementary School many times, but didn’t realize all it had to offer.
With multiple play structures, the boys were in playground heaven!
The larger structure includes four different slides, a climbing wall, a tunnel, various climbing ladders, a steering wheel and two shaded clubhouses. Flooring on this section of the playground is poured rubber. There are benches all around the play are.
Sitting adjacent to the larger playground is the the smaller play structure which is completely enclosed with fence and gate, which is perfect for my sometimes roaming 18 month old.
There are three slides, a climbing arch, regular stairs and climbing circle steps. This area also includes a wavy balance beam and small pitched climbing wall.
This playground has poured rubber flooring and two large shade canopies. There is also a sandbox and musical play area.
The two wood chip flooring sections of the playground that sandwich the playgrounds, house the climbing, swinging and spinning play items. This includes 2 circular disc swings, three regular sling seat swings, one accessible swing, monkey bars, a merry-go-round and various climbers.
At the back of the playground area is the Robinson Nature area, which features wood chip trails and also animal blinds to observe the animals in their home.
The school grounds also include a large soccer field and blacktop area. The blacktop area is decked out with two four square areas, hopscotch, two regulation basketball hoops and a smaller structure with basketball hoops at various heights.
We found the best place to park was in the front of the school and then walk around the left side of the building to access the play area. There is a great pavilion with picnic tables near the front circle. We were able to enjoy a picnic lunch here and take in all the sites of garbage trucks, mixer trucks, etc.
