We visited Whitecliff Park on a Thursday morning and originally had the park mostly to ourselves.
This poured rubber floor (the kids really enjoyed the leaf designs inlaid in the rubber) playground is a great option for toddlers and school aged kids alike.
The larger playground has four slides, multiple climbers and levels, two clubhouses and an array of interactive activities to ignite imaginations!
The toddler playground features steps leading to a small slide, a bouncer, a balance beam and multiple interactive activities for the kids.
Located on the other side of the large playground, is the swing set with two belt swings and two bucket swings. The flooring in this area is wood mulch.
Next to the playground sits a large pavilion with numerous picnic tables. This is a great spot for a picnic as you can overlook the playground and also the outdoor aquatic center.
Our visit was cut short at this park due to the arrival of a large school group from Pond Elementary. Their were approx. 30-40 kids who arrived by school bus to play and have a picnic lunch. So we decided it best to leave and make our way to Crestwood Park (see additional review).
Despite our short visit, we would give this park a four graham cracker rating with all of the amenities in and around the park and the ideal layout of the children’s activities.
**Don’t miss the chance to see the Clydesdales across Grant Rd. when pulling into or out of the park. Both times we drove by, they were right next to the fence eating, so we got a great view.
